Today was a pretty chill day at work. We spent the morning looking at the muslin from the pattern we made yesterday. Edwin tweaked some things and decided on what he wanted the next muslin to look like and the changes that needed to be made. After working on the next pattern, we went on an excursion into Amsterdam. The goal was to find a specific book, .7 pencil lead and a 45 degree ruler. Easy right? Wrong. We went to 3 different bookstores and after finding out the didn't have the book Edwin needed, we hung out and looked through fashion books. Then we went to the Bijenkorf and walked around hoping to find the stationary we needed but no such luck. Then we took the scenic route back to the atelier and ate lunch outside.

After we ate lunch, a bum decided to go sleep in front of Edwin door up the steps. Edwin told the bum sorry but he had to leave. He didn't so he later went outside again and told him he needed to leave. I got this shot as he finally left on my way to the post office. Who goes to sleep in the middle of Amsterdam in front of someone's door with a blanket over their body?!? There are plenty of peaceful places he can go although I think he's a fan of the Red Light because I see him walk the street every day.
