Since the pattern for the corset dress was changed (off course) I redid the pattern today. It's about 13 pattern pieces os it took a long time. By the time I've made all the muslins, I'll be an expert at corset-dress making :-) Edwin spent a lot of time looking at how he wanted the cups of the dress to look and explaining how the dress would be lined. We also looked in one of Edwin's books about Dior and just looked at pretty dresses. So impressive. Here are a few reasons why:
Yes I know, beautiful/awesome.
After work I tried to get some India Cotton and a roll of packing paper to draw patterns on and in the Kalverstraat some designer was taking pictures of a model in the middle of the street. I thought it was pretty cool.
Also, If you're familiar with the graffiti artist Bansky, I think I came across one his more discreet and understated works. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I'm pretty much ninety-nine percent sure.
Also, this made me grin. Someone over there thinks he's funny. I think he is.
Then (probably the favorite part of my day) I saw these on Facebook. I never knew it but I've waited my whole life for these!
