I didn't do much at work except a display and hang out so I'll get to the point.
Here are pictures and a mini video of the show!!!
Printed velvet.
I made both of those with help on the details from Gerbrechje and Elise.
Same goes for this jacket. It's a shiny polyester and a mesh over one another which is
why it has that weird/cool shine.
"Elise's dress." SHe worked forever on it.
One of the tops Edwin decided should be made 2 days before the show. I helped on the skirt.
How cute is the leather bag?!? All the bags are leather and were made for the collection.
The belts too.
This picture doesn't do this jacket justice. It's awesome.
"Ka Ho''s dress."
"Sam's Dress." Not the shrug though, I didn't make that. The 1st dress of the collection,
the corset dress I made, is under this. Gerbrechje spent 3 weeks on the beading for the shoulders!!!
Dedication/awesomeness.
Better view of this version I made.
Everyone worked on the cape. Elise, Gerbrechje and Ka Ho did most
of the applique and I just sewed the pieces together and Edwin and Elise
finished the details. This is one of my favorites.
Elise's dress again.
And a short video. It doesn't show all the sets but you get an idea...AND YOU CAN SEE "MY" SHOES IN ACTION (they're not really mine but I was there during every step). Thanks again uncle Richard for the deer lags! The result is amazing :-) No really. If he can find 2 more legs, I'm making myself a pair.
I will post more once I get the other pictures, They have to be edited first. My portfolio/resume, unlike my wallet, definitely got a boost from this internship!
Here is some aftermath of the show.
The model headquarters downstairs.
Gerbrechje made a cake because it was her last day. How adorable!
